Dalia’s practice focuses on employment law and NGOs laws and regulations. Dalia has over twelve years of experience in the legal field.

Her practice includes providing legal consultations to multinational clients in relation to their labor issues on plenty of diverse, complex, routine as well as novel issues in the context of employment law, advising local and international NGOs and social ventures on various subjects of the law such as NGOs regulations, legal compliance, setting up small and medium enterprises, contract and commercial laws.
Her most recent work in employment includes advising multiple giant tech companies, European Investment Bank, KUFPEC, Neptune Energy and Centamin Plc. These matters include, employment contracts, employees’ benefits, outsourcing of employees, foreign employees, work permits, transfer of employees, termination of employment, impact of military service on employment, advising on rights of people with disabilities, rights of female employees, social insurance and providing general legal assistance on several employment disputes.
She also advises Egyptian NGOs, foreign NGOs who are working to the benefit of the Egyptian community, social ventures on various subjects of the law such as NGOs regulations, employment laws, legal compliance, setting up small and medium enterprises, contract and commercial laws.
She has contributed to various legal research and reports on public interest subjects such as Gender Equality in Employment, Gender Based Violence, Women Rights, FGM and Climate Change Legal Liability with various entities including the World Bank, Cambridge University Press and the International Development Law Organization.
She also worked on developing and operating an Arabic online database in simple Q&A and How-to formats to cater for Egyptian citizens who may not have adequate funds to refer to a lawyer. Dalia is also responsible for managing the development fund of the firm.”

Representative Experience

Advising various multinational clients including a giant tech company on various employment, social insurance and immigration matters. These matters include, employment contracts, employees’ benefits, outsourcing of employees, foreign employees, work permits, transfer of employees, termination of employment, and providing general legal assistance on several employment disputes.

Conducting a training session on the rights of female employees’ in the work place organized by the Egyptian Association for Educational Resources and conducting various training sessions organized by the Gerhart Center for Philanthropy and Civic Engagement at the AUC and by Nahdet El Mahroussa on how to choose the best legal structure for your enterprise and the rules and regulations governing NGOs and commercial companies.

Handling the employment aspects associated with transactions managed by the other teams, such as the M&A and Oil & Gas teams in the context of acquisitions and transfer of employees between entities.

Advising various multinational and local nonprofits on rules governing incorporation, fundraising, receipt of donations and compliance. 

Contributing to a research project regarding sexual violence for Equality Now, an international organization that advocates for the human rights of women and girls, and the International Bar Association (IBA) to be presented at the UN Commission on the Status of Women in New York.

Contributing to the Women, Business and the Law 2021 Report issued by the World Bank Group through research on laws and regulations influencing women’s capacities and decisions to participate in the workforce and start businesses. The research included labor laws, family laws, personal status laws, criminal laws;

Co-authored the Chapter for Egypt in “Climate Change Legal Liability” book published by Cambridge University Press.
