Taher joined Sharkawy & Sarhan as a Senior Associate. With a diverse educational background and legal practice in investigating and prosecuting major white-collar and political corruption crimes, and presiding over labour disputes court cases, he shifted his career path from the Bench to the Bar.
Through his career, he handled corporate matters and provided commercial, employment and data privacy advisory for a number of multinational companies. He advised a tech giant on developing its digital app to comply with the Egyptian laws. He assisted a leading media platform on complying with the Media Law.
He also instructed multinational biotech and pharmaceutical companies into entering the Egyptian market with medical digital apps. His work also included providing multiple employment and general commercial advice.

Moller – Maersk, in relation to a 30-year concession agreement with لمنطقة الاقتصادية لقناة السويس  SCZONE for managing the extension of the new quay at Port Said East Port, in order to provide logistic services and manage the additional extensions of the new quay.
